Trends report, CUSTOM date ASAP

Trends reports are not valuable UNLESS the report can compare 4 or 5 yrs of actual data to date. Therefore has a custom date range. Cash Manger Rural had this valuable option. Comparing current yr info to date against 4 previous season Totals is not very valuable. Completing my request enables one to do performance financial comparisons yr to date.

I always used to look at 5 year Trends report at half year mark so I could benchmark current half year result to the previous half years over number years rather than just one (that can get from variance Reporting). The benefit from comparing over numerous years is that you can see the anomalies/one off's (and discount them) and see them in context - otherwise if just looking at 2 years worth of data any anomoly/one off affects both years and cant tell which figure is the norm. Thanks

Mike Connor: Hi, Thanks for your feedback. Apologies for the delay in response. We have recently up-dated the Trends report however it did not include the functionality of using part years. I have passed your request to the development team for consideration. I will also keep the post open to gauge support from other users as this feeds into the prioritisation process. Thanks for your ongoing support.

John Here, Attempting to show Contract Milkers and or 50% share milkers the cost structures to date in comparison to previous yr using season to date info. So Valuable but cant as trends use end of season info of historics compared to current season to date so therefore invaluable. please fix with a season to date option
