One Step Matching

Why can't the system automatically match transactions, so we only have to do one click instead of 3 clicks. There will still need to be the ability to match to a different invoice, if the auto match is incorrect. 3 clicks is time consuming

FF needs to take this on board...I was an early adopter of Cash manager (thats the (my) problem) while coding a line from RHS that "matches something on the left (that shud/ needs to be matched) why cant it automatically ask...."do yu want to match to an existing invoice ..??? hey there is one try this one etc??
I think there may be a way where i (we) can turn off the matching of some suppliers so i never waste time every time trying to remember how I should have done it... but cant recall how to do this
im with merryn on the too many clicks....we have to click "do you want to add another line ??? of course we do...CMR used to know that we needed another line; why cant FF work that out??
bring back single entry book keeping!!!

Hi Merryn, thank you for your feedback.
There are a lot of variables when it comes to matching including often needing to match one to multiple. The matching screen is the quickest way to get all of your matching done once your invoices have been coded.
I will keep this open to gauge support from other users.

Xero does 1 step "matching" and it is very straightforward and much move efficient than what we have to do in Farm Focus

Merryn Maxwell: This is something we are currently investigating.
We are looking for a way to do it so that it still requires customer oversight and prevents invoices and transactions being matched incorrectly. We will keep you in the loop with any updates.

Mikayla - Farm Focus Like Merryn has said, Xero has a 1 step matching system that is far more efficient. Have a look on their demo, it is one step and you can decline it if you want - very straight forward and not time consuming.
