Why is there no area to add depreciation type and % on asset schedule and have it calculate like it use to on CMR

I just came on to setup my asset register (despite having had it all entered previously in CashManager) and have discovered there's no depreciation feature. I cannot comprehend what the point of this new asset register is without this feature. Is this going to be a planned development Jane McLennan? I'm not going to waste my time manually entering all my assets again if all it is is an electronic list of my assets, it adds no value.
