the calves, R1, R2 classes aging up at end of finance year does not work for dairy. one of the groups need to be dumped.
A heifer born august 2020, will be a calf in farm focus till end of may 2021, then she will be a R1 (or Y1) till end of may 2022, when she will be a R2. But by then she is about to calve and should be in the MA.
There is no example of dairy in the 'aging stock' help file, only sheep and beef. For dairy it does not add up

On farm, that heifer born aug 2020, is a R1 from 1st dec 2020 till 1st of may 2020, then she is a R2 till 1st of may 2021, then she is a in calf heifer and as soon as she calves will be MA
In farm focus, she would be a calf till 31st of may 2021, then become a R1 till the 31st of may 2022, just a few months before she is due to calve!? She will not be automatically added to MA, as she still is a R1 according to the program
