Please Farm Focus, your program needs to Auto-Save a partially coded transaction if the user leaves that screen. Otherwise hours of work can be accidentally lost.

One more thing to add to my comment. I also second the request that someone else made that when you 'save' it leaves you on the page you are currently working on. For example you've finished 2 of 8 pages on the Farmlands invoice and press 'save'-it takes you back to the Needs Action screen and you have to go in and find your place again. It would be better if it stays where you were or had an addition 'save and close' button.

I second this request. It would be especially helpful for large invoices like Farmlands where there are multiple pages. It's easy to get taken away half way through without remembering to "save". Despite the reminder at the top. Thanks for considering this!

Twice now I have got interrupted when preparing an invoice, and lost the work in progress. Once I am not sure whether it was because my internet timed out. Is it possible to autosave invoice work in progress? I don't do a lot of invoices, so the muscle memory is a little limited on the "tricks". But those invoices are generally complex and/or big, so getting them right is a big deal for me.

Thank you for your feedback. In order to save a transaction the transaction needs to be balanced, when the transaction is saved it goes to the completed screen. I will send this to the development team to have a look at whether transactions can be saved as "draft" until you can complete the coding. You will be updated with any progress here.

I still think you are all missing the point.
When in a transaction, we can now “save” without it being balanced , it then sits as “needs attention”. That is progress that we can now save an incomplete transaction.
However, when coding a large transaction, there is a not at the top to “save” regularly.
Unfortunately when you “Save” the transaction, the program drops you right back out to the “balancing” screen and you must then re-enter the transaction and then find the page you weee working on. Very cumbersome.
It is also possible to leave the transaction, ie to go to a Report or Setting Page and loose all the work done on that transaction with no block to prevent leaving the transaction “unsaved” and no reminder or warning to Save.
I cannot understand why Farm Focus does not “Auto Save” a transaction every few minutes or “Auto Save each line as a coded line is entered.
I find this flaw in the program extremely frustrating.
