Auto forward invoice email to scanner

I would like to cut out the middle man and set up the invoice scanner as an automatic forwarding email for any incoming emails which have a pdf attachment with "invoice" in the file attachment. Currently I cannot do this because the forwarding email is required to be verified, by accessing the verification email in the scanner email account (apparently no one can access this currently). With AI moving the way it is, this seems to be a logical way to cut down workload.

Nicky, I invoice between different entities, and have set the email invoices get sent to as the scan to focus email for that entity. Does this make sense? I haven't gone so far as to set my billing email address with external companies as the scan to focus email address, but I think for straightforward invoices that don't give you scan to focus errors, you could probably do this. Then the billing company would get any bounce backs. I haven't done it because I don't want the risk of missing anything, but maybe if scan to focus had the option of having an alternative bounce back address, this would work.

At this stage it is not recommended to setup automatic forwarding rules in your emails to invoice scanner, as it if has trouble reading it and you receive a bounceback, it can get stuck in a loop.
This may change in the future with technology advancements.
We will keep this open to gauge support from other users.
