Hi, wondering if/ when there will be a provision in focus for Assets? , like in Rural, as i used to be able to do my entire accounts for the business in rural. Now ive gone to focus which I was told can do everything Rural did now i cant prepare my full set off accounts.

I found the Asset Register a valuable part of Cash Manager Rural and used it to record purchases and sales along with depreciation. I am hoping it can be migrated from our Cash Manager Rural even though I am now using Farm Focus. The Asset Register was a very important part of my accounts.

Gillian Hooper: Hi Gillian, the asset register will be release soon, while you won't be able to migrate your data from CMR the features are very similar and the register is a user friendly way to record your assets.

I used the asset register to record buying and selling of assets, and for calculation of depreciation. It's weird that the program is not already capable of migrating the asset register from Rural to Focus.

Good morning Focus, Its a grotty day here - cold in the Manawatu so I thought before I feed the calves I would add our vote for an asset register. .We have been looking for a program or a way to manage recording on farm assets, machinery purchase and repairs or infrastructure repairs and maintenance etc, so far I haven't found one without spending a lot of money. It would be great if this could be tagged to expenses so it might save doubling up on recording work. It would also be great if it were able to print off maintenance reports in a printable format. Thanks Andy
